New Intel SSDs at the Upcoming IDF?
Intel’s Developer Forum (IDF) is scheduled for mid-September in San Francisco. Among other things, Intel’s own solid state drives are on the agenda and it is rumored that new models may be unveiled.
Intel Developer Forum is a conference on and around the Intel and related products. The conference is normally held two to three times a year, and the next time it’s in San Francisco on 13 to 15 September. This time the agenda contains several interesting points.
Intel promises a full day focusing on Atom and Core systems, as well as future technical sessions on, among other things, its upcoming Sandy Bridge architecture, the BIOS replacement EFI and what’s in store for USB 3.0. In addition, there will also be discussions related to Intel’s SSD offerings, hopefully with some information on future devices.
In addition to the more technical parts of the program there are also keynotes by Intel CEO Paul Otellini and Justin Rattner, head of Intel Labs development team, plus others. Read more about it or register on Intel’s website.
